Athena Doshi · March 7, 2025

Exactrx is proud to announce that our CEO and founder, Athena Doshi, has been named to Inc. Magazine's prestigious 2025 Female Founders 500 list. This recognition celebrates the most dynamic women entrepreneurs in America who are leading their organizations to success.
Athena's leadership has been instrumental in developing Exactrx's AI-native platform that helps Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) prevent costly cancellations and recover significant lost revenue. Under her guidance, Exactrx has created technology that reduces day-of cancellations by 3%, cuts surgical prep time by approximately 30 minutes per case, and helps facilities recover over $300,000 in annual revenue.
"I'm deeply honored to be included among such an exceptional group of female founders," said Athena Doshi. "This recognition reflects the incredible work of our entire team at Exactrx as we build the intelligence layer for modern surgery centers. We remain committed to our mission of helping healthcare facilities operate more efficiently while improving patient care."
With her background as a two-time healthcare founder and experience at companies like Heartbeat Health and Omada Health, Athena has assembled a world-class team at Exactrx including Ellard Li (CTO), Dr. Jan Krumsiek, PhD (Head of AI), and Dr. Gina Cocos, PharmD (Cofounder).
